Kirkcaldy hosts the third UK Beach Highland Games on Saturday 10th June, brought to you by the local BID Company, Kirkcaldy 4 All.

Kirkcaldy’s Waterfront is set to host the UK Beach Highland Games for the third-time on Saturday 10th June which is free to attend.

The event will see a variety of traditional Highland Games taking place including running events and heavy events such as caber tossing. The Highland games will be accompanied by a range of events for all the family, stalls, food & refreshments, Highland dancing and Pipe Band competitions.

This event is the only Highland Games to be held on a beach and due to tide restrictions the event is expected to start at 9:30am and end at 1:30pm

A spokesperson for Kirkcaldy 4 All says:

“This is a free event to watch: the town’s stunning waterfront provides a grandstand view of all the action with opportunities to participate. There will be pipe bands, a parade, athletic running events, traditional heavy events and Highland dancing.
