Irish filmmaker, writer, actor and comedian, Dylan Moran has started a UK tour with one of the venues announced as Lochgelly Centre on Tuesday 17th March 2015.

Dylan is most noted in the mainstream media for his observational comedy finding wide stream fame for the UK television show; Black Books which he co-starred alongside Bill Bailey, and Tamsin Greig.

Black Books followed the lives of a dishevelled book store owner, Bernard Black (Dylabn Moran), his assistant Manny (Bill Bailey) and their friend Fran (Tamsin Greig).

The show became a success which won the series two BAFTA awards for the Best Situation Comedy in 2001 and a Bronze Rose at the Festival Rose d’Or.

Dylan Moran went onto filming co-parts alongside Simon Pegg in Shaun of the Dead and Run Fatboy Run, as well as appearing as lead in the film ‘A Film With Me In It’ which tells the tale an unsuccessful actor and failing writer, who find themselves trying to cope after a series of unfortunate accidents leave them surrounded by corpses. The film was released on DVD in 2011 which received a positive response from critics.
