Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland are having a walkathon at Loch Leven and are currently seeking volunteers to take part and raise funds for the organisation.

The walkathon has three categories for keen fund-raisers and walkers to participate in. Supporters can choose from either a 6km (3.7 miles), 11km (6.8 miles) or a 13 mile (The 13 mile walk will be restricted to age groups 13 and over) sponsored walk.

The walks will be carried out along the Heritage Trail around Loch Leven, starting from 10am Sunday 22nd March 2015.

The charity is keen to highlight that the walk is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, as well as being suitable for wheelchair users, buggies, groups and dog owners.

Participants can support Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland by seeking sponsorship for the walk or by making a donation. Official sponsorship forms will be provided to all entrants.

Money raised will go to supporting the charity to continue to deliver services that help more than 18,000 people and their families in communities across Scotland to directly improve their lives, advancing medical research, providing advice, information and support in communities.
