We recently announced on the Facebook page that Costcutters will be the new location for the Post Office and that it will return in October. This information was passed from a reliable source, but we refrained from publicising this information until we had recieved confirmation.
We have now received confirmation, but it is not 100% conclusive as the Post Office is now conducting a public consultation regarding the location of the PO facilities.

Rather than replicate the entire list we have highlighted the services that will no longer be available at the Lochgelly Post Office. Any service no longer available from the proposed branch in Lochgelly, will still continue to be available in the Cowdenbeath Branch.

i think it is wrong to put the post office in costcutters as there is a perfectly good building further down the street where it was in the begining before it moved into the old good news building

DON’T AGREE WITH IT BEING IN COSTCUTTERS SHOULD BE IN ITS ORIGINAL BUILDING NEXT TO SORTING OFFICE

Its no good in costcutters its never open and they rip you with your own mail always the dame cant sell you a stamp as the safe is on a timer total bull get it in the coop or in it original building as i have to go to cowdenbeath now …. shocking.
