The Lochgelly Community Development Forum have now opened their charity shop, to test trial the project for the next 12 weeks. The purpose of the shop is to raise funds for the Lochgelly Gala and the Lochgelly Christmas Lights, to secure both projects for the Lochgelly community by making them self-sustainable and less reliant on funding.
The shop is managed by volunteers and is open from Monday to Friday from around 10am-3pm, and sells a variety of goods from books, clothes, kids toys, bric-a-brac, etc.
Xbox 360 Games
Currently the shop has twenty-five Xbox titles, six PS titles, and eleven Xbox 360 titles. There is a good selection of game play types, FPS, RPG, Strategy, Driving etc. especially for the classic Xbox and Xbox 360. We’ve listed the Xbox 360 games below;
All the games will be sold on a first come first served basis. If you are buying any of the games as a Christmas present for a family member, make sure you check what their exact gaming system is (Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2) to avoid disappointment.
The Lochgelly Community Development Forum are looking for donations of any unwanted items which can be sold through the Community shop, which helps support the Lights and Gala. Unfortunately the group cannot handle white goods, or other electronics, and is only looking for books, DVDs, Videos, Clothing, Childrens toys, etc.
If anyone has unwanted white goods, furniture, or electronics, these can always be passed to the Cairn Centre, who are currently relocating their shop to the Main Street of Lochgelly, across from Macainsh Church.
