We recently published a video showing the wildlife at the Meedies, and now we have done the same for the Gelly Loch. We took some time out to go all around the Loch, and unfortunately, we had to include footage of Little Raith and Mossmorran, otherwise we would be ignoring the two elephants in the room. However, we have toned down the footage to focus mainly on the wildlife at the Gelly Loch which includes Geese, Swans, and Deers, as well as focusing on what’s left of the scenery.

Despite the industrial impacts, areas of the Gelly Loch is still beautiful, and still deserves to be known as ‘Loch of Shining Waters’, or the other translation of ‘Loch of Bright Waters’. There is more wind farm applications pending for the area, hopefully further industrialisation of our Loch can be halted so we can preserve what is left.
