tuesday 30th oct 7am made a complaint to sepa regards mossmorrans benzine burner , night turned to day as they burn off there pollutants in the dark, the wind turbines had a nice red glow to them as they are silhouetted in the dark my living room lit up for free , my north facing window curtain a nice glowing colour in the dark (that is the opposite side of the house from mossmorran)

and i get the added bonus of knowing my electricity bills will be more expensive so little raith wind farm can pocket my money .

Thank you for posting Chic. One of our volunteers put in a complaint as well, the noise has been extremely bad today, and the light pollution excessive.

SEPA are in the local area monitoring the plant, I am hoping this includes noise pollution recordings as well.

We would urge anyone else with concerns to contact SEPA on 0800 80 70 60 (24 hour service).

The more people that raise their concerns, the more the issues will need to be addressed and it leaves a paper trail of local complaints.

Thanks for the update, hopefully the problem isn’t with the Pressure Safety Valve which caused all the explosion noises and flaring last year.

Faulty valve this week, gas leak last week! The noise yesterday morning and again last night was terrible and totally unacceptable. At school today, parents were complaining about how the noise had kept them awake. Note please, we are trying to raise our children in this enviroment! How do I explain to my 5yr old granddaughter about the flaring night sky, the loud, vibrating noise and the ghostly turbines with their shadow flicker on her bedroom wall?
