On at Fife is providing an exclusive competition, as part of the Summer Festival fun, to bring a bit of New Orleans to your street.
The band, the ‘Stooge Brass Band’, hail from New Orleans, and are not your typical Brass Band. The music combines an innovative blend of traditional New Orleans brass sounds with contemporary hip-hop beats.
The Stooges Brass Band have received much critical acclaim in the USA, based on their high energy shows referred to as a full blown musical party, and have won several awards, including the ‘Red Bull Street Kings’ and ‘Best Contemporary Brass Band’ at the Big Easy Music Awards.
The Stooges Brass Band puts on one of the most entertaining, audience-interactive shows of any band on the scene.
On At Fife have arranged for the Stooges Brass Band to tour and perform around Central Fife, playing informally in the street, and are giving residents in the local community an opportunity to have the Stooges perform in your street.
For a chance to win the competition, you can phone 08451 555 555 extension 402 231, provide your name, address and phone number and tell On at Fife what would be great about the Stooges playing in your street.
Alternatively, visit: http://www.onfife.com/stooges-competition and fill in the online form.
The closing date for entries is 2nd July 2012. The winning streets will be announced in the local press and on the On at Fife website: http://www.onfife.com/.
