Lochgelly GalaWith the success of the Lochgelly Gala in 2010, the Lochgelly Community Development Forum, have been hard at work to create another lively and fun packed event for the Lochgelly community to enjoy.

The LCDF have been busy, raising and securing funds, working with local groups, business and individuals to create another memorable day.

This years Gala will be held at the Public Park, on the 21st of August, after a street parade, and a fancy dress competition. The fancy dress competition will be held at the West End Park at 11:00am and will be judged by MSP Helen Eadie

Lochgelly GalaThis years theme will be based on Disney characters, and it is hoped the children (and adults) will come along in fancy dress, for a more colourful and fun Gala.

The Gala will be packed with activities, fairs, competitions and other fun activities, for all age ranges to enjoy. Gala Bags are currently on sale at various outlets including the LCDF office for only £1.

Children rides will be mostly free, with rides available for the teenagers, and other events and stalls for all the family to enjoy a fun packed day at the Gala.
