Read More Lochgelly Gala Planning has started for the Lochgelly Gala and it will be held on the 21st of August 2011. We are looking for volunteers to get involved in the planning and implementation of the Gala and would love your feedback. If you have a few hours to spare a week, please contact us. We are also raising funds for the Gala, and Sapphire Gifts have started taking collections on our behalf. Our donation tins will be made available in other shops soon. Read More Lochgelly Womans Social Group The group meets every fortnight on a Tuesday and was formed to help mature isolated women in the community gain self-esteem and make new friends. The membership now has 14 members that are enjoying the friendship and camaraderie of the group. Read More LCDF AGM We recently held our AGM and welcomed new members on board, as well as providing an update of our past initiatives and the future development of the Lochgelly Community Development Forum. Read More Local Successes We highlighted the success of a local young stock car driver; Grady Ross who won the “Best Newcomer Trophy” and congratulated Aaron Adie (Young Citizen of the Year 2010) on making the grade to represent Scotland’s fishing team for this year.
