The CD-ROM is free to copy for personal usage and educational purposes but can not be copied for commercial use. We tried to contact the author for permission to republish some of the content here, but failed to get a reply. We have therefore took the decision to republish online as we release all our content for non profit and educational usage. All work remains the copyright of the original author.

The authors of the CD-ROM created a range of historical material and compiled it onto a disc format to preserve part of the history of the Benarty area over a one hundred year period. We are publishing the content here to carry on preserving the history of the Benarty & Lochgelly area, and distribute to a wider audience.

If anyone can identify the places, any of the persons in the photographs, or the years the photographs were roughly taken please tell us in the comments below, as we would like to help expand the data that was collected and arrange a free collections for others to use for personal and educational usage.
