St Pats enjoyed a visit from the ever growing Lochgelly Tae kwon do school on Monday 22nd November.

Led by 4th dan instructor Robert MacGregor, the local martial artists taught lively sessions, for classes 2 up to 7 and all the children and some of their teachers took part enthusiastically and had a great time. All sessions started with a vigorous warm up then some hand and foot techniques followed by the chance to kick pads or break boards, and to practice blocking kicks and punches using special soft pads.

Many of the children expressed an interest in taking part in the regular classes, which are held in the Lochgelly Town Hall on Tuesday and Thursday nights throughout the year. In fact 7 of them trained with the regular class on Tuesday, whilst 2 more phoned to say they wanted to start next week.

Anyone else interested in joining Lochgelly TKD can get more information on 07838 363550, by emailing or looking at the website .
