Advertising Rates
We have received funding from Scotland Unltd to release a free community magazine, that will be distributed locally. We only have enough funding for 1 issue, yet we would like to make the magazine sustainable so we can at least release 2 issues per year. Ideally if the magazine receives enough support we would like to release a magazine every 3 months (4 issues per year).
The magazine will be free for the local community and will be distributed through community buildings and selected retail outlets in the local area. The magazine will be 12 pages at A4 size printed in full colour gloss, and 1000 copies will be made available to the local community for free. The magazine will be published at the beginning of July.
To make the magazine sustainable we are providing 2 pages for advertising for businesses. Any money raised from advertising is reinvested into the printing of the magazine. The magazine is designed for free by Focus-Films.
Benefits of Advertising with us
There is many benefits you receive from advertising with us including;
- A professional design team will create your advert at no additional cost and you will receive the finalised design as a high resolution file which is suitable to use for other publications, so not only are you getting advertising space, you are saving money on hiring a designer and receiving a design you can reuse elsewhere.
- Once you have paid for your advertising, and the magazine is published, we will create an article, profiling your business and your contribution to the magazine, this is published to our main page and is shared with Twitter (142 followers) and available in full on Facebook (329 Fans). Our site has a Google Page Rank 3, and we receive on average 2500 – 3500 unique visitors per month, viewing over 36, 000 pages per month. average any article published receive over 100 views on the first day, please check our first page for number of article views.
- We will list your business on our business pages as a featured company, which usually costs £50 per year. You will also be added to our Magazine Supporters page.
- You will be supporting the development of a non-profit and providing the local community with another resource to use.
Working with Focus-Films (www.focus-films.co.uk) a local media design company, they have agreed to provide design support for free for our advertisers. So if you would like to advertise in the magazine but do not have any adverts already designed, Focus-Films, will design your advert, at no extra cost.
