Fife Council

Fife Council is the 3rd largest authority in Scotland, and is responsible for delivering all local governement services throughout the Kingdom of Fife. Their yearly budget exceeds £580 million and requires a team of over 22,000 people to deliver individual services to the people of Fife. Read More

Fife Constabulary

The policing of Lochgelly falls under the Cowdenbeath area which includes Cowdenbeath, Lochgelly, Kelty, Bowhill, Cardenden, Ballingry, along with a number of smaller towns and villages. The population covered is approximately 40,500. Read More

Fife Fire & Rescue

Lochgelly is home to one of six full-time Fire Stations, that service the Kingdom of Fife. The Station is located on Lumphinnans Road and covers a mobilising area which includes 18,131 domestic and 1129 non-domestic properties. The Station houses two fire engines and the Service’s Emergency Tender. Read More
