Can we collectively find a way of supporting the young people in a project next week. Students, including Lochgelly youngsters, are putting on a performance at the Lochgelly Centre next week. They will be assessed on their performance as they come to the end of a drama course. This proves a lot more difficult if there is not the audience to perform to. Can this link be shared around? Thanks. http://onfife.com/events/midsummer-nights-dream

It has been alleged that a 23 year old (James Paterson) has attempted the murder and rape of pregnant women in the Lochgelly area, as well as at addresses in Fife and Edinburgh. The assaults allegedly took place between 1 January 2006 and December 2010, and all the women were pregnant.
The first alleged victim claimed he tried to set her on fire with a deodorant can, stabbed her in the hand with a pen knife and turned her into a “nervous wreck”. He is said to have attacked three women, and attempted to murder them, and has also been accused of attacking two babies.
James Paterson has lodged a defensive plea, claiming that he was defending himself from the women.
