Jamie Miller, 22, and Steven Finlayson, 35, have appeared before the Edinburgh High Court for robbing the David Sands store at North Street, Lochgelly. The pair held up the store using a weapon, and managed to steal £656, the police captured the suspects later. Jamie Miller, with 42 previous convictions, also faces charges of armed robbery as he attempted to rob a petrol station in Kinross with a Tazer Stun Gun and switch blade.

The sentencing on both of the suspects has been deferred until June 14, 2012 until background reports can be provided to the court. Final sentencing will be handled by the Glasgow High Court.
