None of the Community Councillors have a disclosure check for serving on the Community Council, and I don’t think it is a requirement under the guidelines for Scottish Community Councils.
Also, unlike English Community Councils, the Scottish Community Councils are exempt from the Freedom of Information act. You can request further info on this by contacting the Scottish Information Commissioner at: http://www.ico.gov.uk/about_us/our_organisation/scotland.aspx
The Lochgelly Community Council do not have a secretary at the moment, so there is no public contact details for them. The next meeting in December should have chosen a Secretary, so we will publish their contact details after the meeting.
