Historic Fife (Images)
We have sourced the following images from a CD-ROM which was created by N.T.W. Fox in collaboration with James Campbell. The CD-ROM is made available through Benarty Library and contains images, videos, booklets, mainly from the Benarty Area, with material covering Lochgelly and surrounding areas.
The CD-ROM is free to copy for personal usage and educational purposes but can not be copied for commercial use. We tried to contact the author for permission to republish some of the content here, but failed to get a reply. We have therefore took the decision to republish online as we release all our content for non profit and educational usage. All work remains the copyright of the original author.
The published images are not covered by our Creative Commons Licence. However, based on the copyright information contained on the CD-ROM, you are free to copy and distribute the images for non-profit, personal use, and educational usage only.
The authors of the CD-ROM created a range of historical material and compiled it onto a disc format to preserve part of the history of the Benarty area over a one hundred year period. We are publishing the content here to carry on preserving the history of the Benarty & Lochgelly area, and distribute to a wider audience.
